Dishwasher Parts for repair.

My G.E. dishwasher broke down recently. It had a problem with the water not cutting off when water fills the tub. I remember I had a similar problem with the toilet flushing system where the float switch did not cut off due to wear and tear. I thought that might be the problem but I had never repair a dishwasher before. So I went online to check for repair solutions and started to do some troubleshooting myself. I remove the service panel and took out the float switch. Upon inspection, I found the plastic float looks a bit worn out. Then I went to my local appliance store to look for a replacement float switch. Unfortunately, they did not have the dishwasher part in stock. So I went online to look for dishwasher parts for sale and manage to find this exact model float switch. It took a few days for the part to be sent to my house so I had to do without a dishwasher for a few days. Fortunately for me, the repair went well and now my dishwasher is working perfectly again.
